Can I still join if I'm going on vacation for part of the summer?
Yes! You are always welcome to give your share to a friend for the weeks that you'll be away, or, if you'll be away for many weeks during the summer, consider getting a small share.
What if I can't pick up during the designated pickup hours?
You can pick up any day of the week from 12-6pm at the farm stand.
Can I still join if I can't pay the whole membership fee upfront?
Yes! Our payment plan option on our membership form allows you to pay in two separate payments, one in the spring, and the second by early summer. Paying more of your membership fee early in the season helps us with all of our upfront costs associated with the growing season, but we understand that this isn't feasible for everyone. If you would prefer to pay in three or four installments, let us know, and we are happy come up with an alternative payment schedule.
Can I buy large quantities of veggies if I'm having a party, or would like to can or freeze veggies for the winter?
Yes! We want our CSA members to have access to the abundance of the harvest when veggies are at their freshest. If you pick up at the farm, we will have surplus veggies for sale when they are available. We'll try to let you know one week in advance what will be available so you can plan accordingly. If you are hosting an event or large gathering and would like specific items harvested, talk to us and we can let you know what we have available.
Are there other items for sale at the farm stand?
We often have eggs for sale from our organically fed chickens. We also have various pestos, salsas, and jams available-- depending on what's in season.
